Welcome to our year 6 blog. This blog will keep you up to date with everything that is going on in year 6 at Wykeham.

Election Time!

We have had a very busy start to year 6. One of the most exciting events has been the elections for Head Girl and Head Boy. All of the candidates performed excellent speeches on Thursday, getting over their nerves to explain why they deserved  the most votes. On Friday, we had a proper polling station set up in the hall, ably supervised by volunteers from Year 6. The votes are now being counted and the winner will be announced in assembly on Monday 17th September. Further elections will follow to select the heads of our four school 'houses' (Rubies, Diamonds, Sapphires, and Emeralds).
